 President's Message
Monday, 09 August 2010

Dear TFIR Members:

Another great speaker for TFIR? Yes! we have Chris Farrell of Judicial Watch.  Judicial Watch is defending  Senator Russell Pearce in the Arizona vs. the federal government lawsuit. Learn more about AZ Senate bill 1070.

TFIR has always been non-partisan. We never have taken a survey of our members; we do not know how many Democrats we have in our following. Recently I got a nice card from one our members who is a Democrat telling me that yes, there are Democrats who do want a protected border and enforcement of our laws.

There is a lot of hoopla about another immigration law that should be passed. Are you aware of what happens to legislation in this present climate? Behind closed doors so many unexpected changes are made. Special interest groups work behind the scenes. There is nothing wrong with the present legislation. We just need someone to enforce it.

Until we elect candidates that care about this issue we will be stuck with the same old “Open Borders Lobby” choices. The whole point of not enforcing our existing immigration law is so we can have a flood of illegal immigrants and create changes in our country. The United States  will have an unstable situation with aliens demanding rights completely changing the founding structure of our country.  Mexico has more immigration by 2% than the next ten countries combined!  Unlike third world countries there is great wealth in Mexico. The richest man in the world, Carlos Slim, lives there.   The U.S. will be like Canada with Quebec. A Spanish speaking enclave with little in common with the original country.  Every U.S. citizen will be required to learn Spanish and everything will be in two languages.  Notice that no one mentions our republic any more.  We are taking democracy to Iraq and Afghanistan; not a republican form of governing. Our founders warned that democracy is a very poor form of government.  A majority of thugs can vote in whatever they want.  In a republic there are safeguards for the minorities.

There are few kinds of government: a republic, a theocracy,  or tyranny.  Sharia law and a republic cannot exist together. Every Muslim is by their faith bound to support a theocracy.  Obama is bringing in Hamas refugees. We not only provide funding for Hamas but we then make them refugees. You as a taxpayer are footing the bill for thousands getting asylum who believe in a theocracy.  One wonders about Mayor Bloomberg of New York City. What a lack of sensibility to the anguish and pain the 911 families have suffered? Why did Muslim leaders decide to build their mosque in a geographical area so painful for us all to remember?   And celebrate it with the 9/11 dates?

Keep the amnesty immigration reform argument very simple. Mexico has more immigrants than the next ten countries combined by 2%. (Center for Immigration Studies) That is not diversity of immigration. Why should they get an amnesty when others wait in line patiently for years and years to come here legally?

Our members have so many activities related to their commitment to the immigration issue.  It is exciting to constantly hear of the many projects they are involved with; campaigning for good candidates, passing out our literature, writing our elected officials, and emailing important information. Your efforts make mine so very worthwhile.  I appreciate your constant work toward a better America.

Sincerely,

Louise Whiteford
